Meet the person behind the pieces

Hi, I’m Anna — an artist and nature-lover based in Wettswil, just outside of Zürich. I create ceramics inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

My love for pottery began the moment I touched clay. There’s something deeply therapeutic and grounding about shaping a raw lump of earth with your hands and slowly turning it into a functional, beautiful object.

Each of my pieces is handmade in my home-atelier, using stoneware clay and simple, opaque glazes. I’m especially drawn to organic shapes, muted earthy tones, and tactile surfaces — hand-carved textures that might remind you of tree bark, rocks, or dry earth. No two pieces are exactly the same, and that’s the point: I welcome irregularity and imperfection because they reflect the handmade character of each object. My forms are deliberately organic, allowing me to interact spontaneously with the clay as I shape each piece.

Nature is my biggest inspiration. I believe our homes should be calming, welcoming spaces that connect us back to the earth. That’s why I choose natural materials and quiet colors — they help create a sense of presence and simplicity. I hope that when you use one of my bowls, mugs, or plates, you’ll feel a little closer to nature too.

Whether you’re serving breakfast or gathering with loved ones around the table, my sincere wish is that these pieces help you celebrate the beauty in the everyday.

Thanks for being here 🌿
